About the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer
Rudolph “Rudy” Hamilton Green joined the University of Miami as vice president and chief compliance officer in January 2013. Green is responsible for creating a robust compliance environment that can be recognized as best practice in research and academic medical center universities.
Before arriving at UM, he was director of University Compliance Services at the University of Texas at Austin, where he successfully led the institutional effort to make compliance and ethics an integral part of that university’s structure and culture. At the University of Miami, Green’s scope of responsibility and influence spans all compliance functions, including but not limited to the Miller School of Medicine and Athletics.
Green earned an M.B.A. and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences from Yale University.
