John is a lecturer in the Writing Studies Department. He teaches first year writing courses and business writing courses, and he has extensive experience in journalism and public relations writing for non-profit organizations. His current interests include the burgeoning academic field of Disability Studies, writing studies, and playing the piano as a rank amateur. He also works with faculty on their grant proposals, articles, and other professional or personal writing.
