Christine Baez serves as the Financial Analyst of Student Activities and Student Organizations. In this role, she co-advises the Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee (SAFAC), the Graduate Activity Fee Allocation Committee (GAFAC), and the Late Night Programming Grant (LNPG). She manages accounts for 300+ student organizations, provides financial reports, and supervises Financial Interns and a GAFAC Graduate Assistant.
Born and raised in Miami, Christine joined the ‘Canes family in 2012 as a student and is a proud double ‘Cane from the Miami Herbert Business School. Christine officially joined UM as a full-time professional staff member in March 2019 as SASO’s first Senior Financial Assistant. She supports the UM community through her department’s vision: Creating Experiences. Connecting Canes. Christine’s favorite UM tradition is the ‘Canes spell out.
