About

Carol Wilson is the Assistant Dean of Collegiate Studies in the Division of Continuing & International Education at the University of Miami. In this capacity, she provides strategic program leadership for the the Division's non-traditional college credit programs.

Under Carol's leadership, the Collegiate Studies department incorporates best practice research, continous improvement processes, and assessment activities aimed at driving student retention and success.

Carol has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, including serving as an extension agent program coordinator for the University of Florida and Miami-Dade County, and as an English teacher for the Instituto Chileno Norteamericano in Santiago, Chile. Carol has also served as an agrarian project volunteer for the Peace Corps in Riobamba, Ecuador.
