Adjunct Faculty, J.D. Program and Director, Tenants' Rights Clinic
Jeff Hearne is Director of Litigation at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. and is currently the Advocacy Director of the Tenants' Rights Project there. LSGMI is the largest provider of civil legal services for the low-income community. Mr. Hearne represents low-income tenants, with a focus on those tenants living in subsidized housing, mobile homes, and foreclosed properties. In 2011, he was named among Florida's Legal Elite - a high honor given to only the top 2 percent of government and non-profit attorneys in the state. Mr. Hearne is also the Director of Miami Law's Tenants' Rights Clinic. He attended the University of Texas School of Law. At Miami Law, Mr. Hearne teaches the Tenants' Rights Clinic.
