Jill Richardson began working as a scientist in the marine environment over 13 years ago in the Turks and Caicos Islands, where she assessed the sustainability of local lobster harvesting. This is where her passion for other cultures and the development of resource management programs began. Her marine science adventures culminated in a Bachelor of Science (Biology) and a Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology) degree from the University of California, San Diego and a Doctoral degree from the Rosenstiel School for Marine and Atmospheric Science (University of Miami).
