Katelyn McGuigan, MPH, is Associate Director of Professional Development at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s Department of Public Health Sciences. Katelyn is responsible for managing the capstone and thesis programs for public health master’s students, including overseeing funding opportunities for capstone projects and professional development. She provides career services to graduate students and alumni, and is additionally responsible for networking with employers and community partners to identify job opportunities for public health graduate students.

Katelyn holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Eckerd College and a Master of Public Health from the University of Miami. She has gained experience from her past positions working in multiple public health settings on various topics. Prior to joining the Department of Public Health Sciences, Katelyn worked for the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County, the Florida Institute for Health Innovation, and most recently, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
