Namhoon Ki Bio

Namhoon Ki is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Miami. His research is located at the intersection between public management, local government, and collaborative governance, including networks. His research applies the theories of public management and organizational behavior to the local governance context in order to investigate how intergovernmental collaboration (e.g., formal contracts and information sharing) affects public policy outcomes and what motivates local government officials to participate in the collaborative efforts.

He received his Ph.D. in Public Administration from the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy at Florida State University. He earned his M.A. and B.A. in Public Administration from Korea University, South Korea.
