ABOUT
Silvia Gil, M.S.Ed. has over 15 years of experience working with individuals with Autism. She has a Master's degree in Special Education from Florida International University. Silvia currently works as the Manager for The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation Transition and Adult Programs at UM-NSU CARD. As a manager, she assists families in accessing services and supports community partners and businesses to create inclusive environments for individuals with Autism. In addition, she provides consultations and trainings to teachers, professionals, and parents of children and adults on the spectrum. Silvia also manages the Autism Friendly Initiative that works with businesses to adjust their business model and train their staff to accommodate individuals with autism spectrum disorder and related disabilities.
