Vallerie Felix is an advocate for Public Health always ready to aid in the education, organization, and mobilization of public health services and resources. She graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health in 2018, and recently graduated from Florida International University with a Masters in Health Services Administration. Throughout her academic career Ms. Felix has worked with countless organizations including UM-NSU-Card Center for Autism & Related Disabilities, La Ventana de los Cielos, Hope For Miami, and FIU-Summer Treatment Program. Furthermore, Ms. Felix previously worked as a program coordinator for Miami-Dade Area Health Education Center Inc., providing healthcare education, services, and resources to underserved and vulnerable communities throughout Miami-Dade County. Not only that, but she also aided in monitoring health trends and formulating reports on health information, ensuring that public health programs/initiatives were running efficiently and effectively.

As Senior Program Coordinator of the MD-MPH program, Vallerie will provide administrative support to faculty and act as a liaison between faculty, students, and other Universities. Furthermore, she'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the MD-MPH Capstone and Award program and working closely with students to continuously evaluate their learning experience and improve the quality and value of the Capstone Program.
