Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the Sandler Center

Dean O’Regan works with our Sandler Center peer educators overseeing the campus-wide delivery of UM’s highly regarded alcohol & other drugs educational programming. Dean O’Regan is active nationally with the BACCHUS Initiatives of NASPA, serving as a Certified Peer Educator Facilitator and Coordinator of the AOD Knowledge Communities for NASPA-FL. Originally from Miami Beach, Dean O’Regan is a third-generation Miami Hurricane, earning her M.S.Ed in Higher Education Administration from UM. She has a B.F.A. from Appalachian State University. Prior to UM, Dean O’Regan served in academic and student affairs roles at Duke University, North Carolina State University, and Northeastern University. Her eclectic educational and professional background contributes to leading the university’s effort to creatively attract and engage – across multiple mediums - our ever evolving student body. In her free time, Dean O’Regan has a fascination for pop culture and odd knowledge, loves her geriatric pug Bubba, and has recently infused spin classes into her daily routine.
