Lisa Reyes holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Tampa, where she was recognized with a UT Achievement Award for her prose poetry collection, Salt Water. A New York native, she also holds an MA in American Literature from the College of Staten Island, CUNY. She has taught writing at various universities in New York City. Her teaching interests include Women’s Studies, Mindfulness, and Nature Writing.
