Biography
Seth was born and raised in Long Island, New York and moved to Florida as a teenager. He graduated from high school in Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale then went on to attend the University of Miami where he earned his BBA in 1983, his Master's in Accounting in 1985, and his MBA in 1989. He became a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida in 1987. He has completed all of his coursework required for his Doctor of Business Administration degree at Nova Southeastern University. Finally, he earned his Doctor of Education degree specializing in Applied Learning Sciences with the University of Miami.He began his work career as an auditor and consultant with Price Waterhouse in 1985, and he eventually became a human resources manager with them. He also worked with Arthur Andersen from 1989 to 1994 as their Audit Administrator From 1996 until 2001, he became the Chief Operating Officer with a family owned import and export business in Miami. Since 1989 he has taught the Financial Accounting and Reporting section for students taking the Becker CPA Review Course and continues to work with them as a Financial Editor and Subject Matter Expert.Education
