About My Research

My current research interests focus on the factors that influence treatment effectiveness in behavioral acquisition programs, the relationship between joint attention and preference and motivation for social reinforcers, and the use of technology to bring about behavior change. I previously served as the site PI (subcontract) for a federally-funded, multi-site study evaluating the effectiveness of a school-based joint attention intervention and previously was the site Co-PI for a federally-funded multi-site study evaluating the comparative efficacy of public preschool intervention models for students with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) with Dr. Michael Alessandri (site PI).
