Xiangyang Zhou
Professor

Xiangynag Zhou, materials scientist, graduated from physics department, Wuhan University in 1984. He received his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1992. He worked as a research associate in the Energy Institute of Pennsylvania State University on electrochemical materials in 1992-2002. He joined Applied Research Center in 2002-2004 as a research faculty. He has been a tenure-track and tenured faculty in Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of Miami since 2005. He has served as principal investigator of multiple R&D projects on fuel cells, supercapacitors, batteries, and electro-catalysis. He has published 50+articles in peer-reviewed journals which were cited for more than 1800 times.
