Research
My research is dedicated to characterizing and improving mental health outcomes for youths seeking services in community mental health clinics. To this end, my research to date has followed three interrelated themes: 1) to identify the strengths and limitations of youth mental health care in clinical care settings, 2) to identify experimentally supported assessment tools and treatments that are most ready for dissemination to these settings, and 3) to bridge the gap between clinical services and evidence-based practices by testing the benefits of employing evidence-based assessment tools and treatments in clinical care settings.
