Daniele Macciocchi is an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Herbert Business School. His research interests focus on two main areas: (i) corporate governance, with particular emphasis on shareholder activism; and (ii) the role of information in shaping financial contracts and the interactions between different economic agents.
Macciocchi's research has been presented at numerous international and national conferences and has been published in the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Accounting Research, the Accounting Review, and the Journal of Accounting & Economics.
