Judy G Hood
Senior Lecturer

Judy Hood studied at Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg, Germany, graduated from Stetson University, and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Miami. She has received recognition for her poetry and prose from the Robert Frost Heritage House, Pirate’s Alley Faulkner Society, The Miami Herald and The Southern Quarterly. As recipient of the Andrew Mellon CREATE grant she researched and wrote Attic Treasure: Flagler’s Dream Train. Her recently published book of poems …to live in this world honors her South Florida roots. She contributed to the college text Composing Inquiry and presently teaches Visual Rhetoric and Writing Studies.
