About
Senior Research Associate III, Department of Atmospheric Science - Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science
Brian's research spans a variety of topics centered around tropical cyclones. Research areas include high-resolution numerical modeling, model validation with observations, model diagnostics, and application of observations to inform theoretical dynamics. He maintains an extensive radar archive of land falling tropical cyclones that the global research community has used for nearly two decades. Brian also keeps close tabs on local tides, sea level rise, weather, and climatology.
